I made this sandwich yesterday just for this challenge: lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, and mayo on whole-wheat bread, all organic. I immediately gave half to my younger son Christopher. He ate it up and then hovered over me until I was done painting, because he wanted to eat the other half. I now see the crust could be darker, but Christopher was pressuring me to hurry! Pen, watercolor and gouache on 5" x 8" Acquarello Watercolor Studio 140 lb cold pressed paper.

that´s a great pic. i drew my dinner once. it was sushi and it was so hard to wait with the eating. so every part i had on my paper immediately was popped into my mouth. ;)
I think the crust is perfect - the lettuce is moist and crisp looking - it is a great sketch and I bet it was Good!
