This is a drawing of one of my son's trucks. I've never actually seen a truck like this. It has a spotlight on the back. Is this truck used to make movies? To shed light on crime scenes? To find survivors in nighttime accidents? I have no idea. Trucks are very, very complicated and thus provide good drawing practice.

Its amazing how complex children's toys are when you actually draw them isn't it?
This is a great little drawing. Unusual truck indeed...
Terrific drawing! That was one subject I avoided but hmmm, maybe there's a toy truck around here someplace!
I also like your figurative work. Must be fun taking a figure painting class!
In the "olden days" when I was young, they used huge search lights to advertise openings of businesses and other openings of movies or shows. Perhaps this is one of those trucks....
My son also has many trucks similar to this-he's three, and he loves them all.
This drawing is wonderful-I think I might tackle a toy truck now as well-thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks for the comments, and thanks for explaining a use for this truck, oma3!
