EDM #158 - Draw a Kernel of Popped Popcorn

A single piece of popcorn is surprisingly complex. Staring at a piece of popcorn is similar to staring at clouds. I start to see imaginary figures. The piece of popcorn I drew looks like a Thanksgiving turkey to me. Or a very fat man with a small head and a tail feather. Mechanical pencil on 9" x 12" Strathmore 400 Series Sketch Pad paper

Gorgeous drawing. I'd never have thought that a kernel of popcorn could hold so much interest.

I like this a lot. As Casey has said, it has so much interest and appeal. You've inspired me to make popcorn to draw now!

Thanks! Jeanette: I highly recommend butter and salt with the popcorn!
