Illustration Friday - Foggy

Fog

The fog comes
on little cat feet.

It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

The poem Fog is by Carl Sandburg (1878-1967).

Very nice piece. A lovely foggy feel to it. I wonder what the cat is stalking.

I just love domestic cats who stalk like they're in Africa! Cool illustration!

I really love this, it's beautiful, and really gives a perfect sense of fogginess.
The cat has such character with a pure line-less softness around it!
As a line addict I can really appreciate the linelessness (it's not a word is it?)

Well done! I've had that poem on my mind lately as my daughter is planning a move to San Francisco. Your illustration is perfect!

I love your basket in the previous drawing! It is perfectly done and this is a great interpretation...it looks like soft glow, hazy photo!

Beautiful, like how you blend in the cat and the heavy fog, love the cat movement as well.
